Christmas pet photo events

There's no better time to get photos of your pets with Santa  for Christmas cards and for keepsakes.  Even though our pets don't age like we do, it's still fun looking at them through the years.

Here's Zoe at the Hawaiian Humane Society's photo taking event with Santa and Mrs. Paws two years ago:

Hawaiian Humane Society:  Santa Paws. Nov. 21-22  and Dec 5-6   from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.    Cost $25 for 4 poses on a cd to take with you. (Holiday accessories: antlers, santa hats, etc.  provided)  Info: 946-2187.

Oahu SPCA:  Pictures with Santa Claws and Mrs. Paws . Nov. 21-22  from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. For $25, receive a framed  8"x10" print or digital photo. For just $5 more, receive both.  Also enjoy their Open House and holiday craft fair with punee beds and more for sale. Info: 753-7060.  (They also have a new address: PO Box 2332, Ewa Beach, Hawaii  96706)

Windward Mall:  Saint Nick's Pet Pics. Dec. 1, 8 & 15 from 6 - 9 p.m.  at Toy Works Santa Set. Dogs, cats and small pets like birds, rabbits, etc. are welcome.  All must be restrained on leash or in carriers. Photo packages start at $17. Info: 235-1143.

    zoe hopes to see mika at our next meet up.

    i'm hoping zoe will be able to get tested to be a therapy dog soon. she's going to be observing a couple of saturdays at the nursing home in december. did mika want to come and observe too?

    If and when Zoe can overcome her nervousness around unexpected sounds, she can be a therapy dog right now. She's already adapted to a vicious dog like Kiko-boy. Zoe has a great temperment and personality and looks to boot. I know for a fact that she would make a great therapy dog. I love having her around me. She a great friend and companion to Kiko. Love her Christmas picture.

    This is such a great idea! We got our Christmas photos taken at our vet and we're so glad our whole family gets to be in our holiday photos this year.
