Ok. I'll start.
I'm grateful for all animals because they make the world a happier and better place to live. Animals don't judge us. They lift our spirits and make us laugh. We are never lonely when they're by our side. They are truly are the best medicine for any illness.
Looking at a cheetah with her cubs, a monkey swinging from a tree or my dog lounging on the couch, you can't help but admire the diversity and wonder of animals. How lucky we are that we can enjoy them.

I will be away from the office during Thanksgiving week. Back on Monday, Nov. 30. Happy Thanksgiving all! Have a wonderful holiday!

I am thankful for my pets. They bring life into my home. Although I may scold them for something bad they did, it does not matter to them. Like clockwork, they are on my bed at 5am to wake me up so I can feed them. Meowing in my ear and nuzzling my hand.
When I was sick my cat would give me hugs and the "body massage". Just makes you smile.
I will not be able to use the tickets, please do not enter me in the drawing. Mahalo.

Aloha:
I am thankful for animals because they make me happy. They are truly a gift from God. Nothing like coming home to my dog who is ALWAYS ecstatic to see me. She loves me for who I am...no matter what my mood is, she loves me.

I am grateful for my pets because they always make me smile. I can have the worst day at work but being met at the door by a little chihuahua puppy who is swinging her tail so hard her whole body is moving from side to side because she is happy to see me makes the entire day better.
I would love to see Stomp but can't because I am in CA. I hope whoever wins enjoys the show!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I love sitting on the couch with my spouse watching T.V. or reading a book and our Pug is straddleing the back, like a cat, with a leg hanging over each side. He lays his head on my spouse's head or on his shoulder between us, usually snoring! Our Standard Poodle is sleeping at our feet. I look into each of their peaceful eyes and feel grateful of how lucky I am. "Wow, what a loving and trustful family I have!" I will never be alone. I get to grow older each day with them, always loving them and having them love me back, no matter what's going on in life at the time!

I am grateful for my pets because when times are down or tough, its the little things they do to make me smile. Whether its a little lick or just coming to lean on me or sit @ my feet and my day is instantly better. Even when I'm laying in bed feeling under the weather, they will just lay with me and never leave my side until I tell them. They never judge me and they love me unconditionally like how I love them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I adopted Kapono from HHS and when I got him, he was so dirty and had many issues. After 5 months of care and living with us, he is so beautiful and now very healthy. When people comment on how handsome he looks, I feel so much pride inside of me. I know he feels it too. He has really taught me a lot about being responsible, patient and kind. Although we did a lot for him in medical care and love, he has truly done more for me than I can ever imagine. Life is not life anymore without our fuzzy son. We love him to death and just love playing with him and watching his behavior. He is really the joy in our life.

i am thankful for my cat who sadly had to be put to sleep this year for the many years of happiness he brought me. when i was sick he would stay in my room only leaving to eat or go to the litter box. i miss that rascal boy.

We have no children, so our pugs, 5yo fawn female, Abby and 6yo black male, Nick are our family. This is a breed that demands loving and attention and that's exactly what they get, but more importantly, they give it endlessly.
We could be gone from home for 5mins or 5 days and their reaction of pure joy and excitement when we come home, is the same.
I'm so sad when I see dogs tied on a rope in the yard all day barking and yearning for the slightest bit of attention since pets really require so little and give so much.
They entertain us with their silly antics, we take them hiking, ocean swimming and they love socializing with their dog & cat friends.
They live to please us and after a walk, they look like little angels fast asleep. They require training, responsibility and commitment of time, finances and energy, but the payback is huge.
Pets bring out the silliness in you and allow you to forget your problems since they love unconditionally.
Like the saying goes, "A man's soul can be judged by the way he treats his dog." -- Charles Doran

Animals color the world with joy.Without animals it would be a black and white world.

When my days are long and hard, I come home and receive the most loving and warmest greetings any human can ever receive. Just one look into my babeez eyes, takes all the stress and tension away and I melt into a world just filled with unconditional love. They only ask to be loved back and I cannot give them enough to even come close in letting them know how much they give me and do to my heart. My world would be empty without my babeez and not even another human can match their love and attention. Thank you lord for giving us these wonderful pets!

I tried my best writing this poem...I've seen Stomp 10 years ago.
I AM THANKFUL FOR THE
ANIMALS
I am thankful for the birds and the bees,
And the dolphins in the sea,
I am thankful for the lion that roars,
and the zebra that sits under the tree.
When I sit alone,
I am thankful for the beautiful butterfly,
that comes to visit me.
I am thankful for the monkeys,
The crawling ants and the baby manatee.
Don't be afraid of a snake or the alligator,
Or the crocodile as long as they are far away!
I am thankful we have many wonderful animals,
Some will become extinct someday!

My pets bring much joy, happiness, and love to our household. After a hard day at work, when we come home we are greeted by our 3 dogs at the door; their tails wagging so hard and when we enter we get a whole bunch of doggie kisses and everyone wants to be petted.
We are then greeted by our parrots, Akamai is saying "hello, hello everyone" and Marley our Amazon starts to sing Old McDonald. The macaw is saying "hello" while the cockatiels are whistling away. When the parrots think we are not around, they hold their own conversation. It's always so funny to hear them talk.
We would mute the TV, just to listen to them talk.
I would never trade my 3 dogs, 2 rabbits and 20 birds in the world for anything else. They are our family and we love them.

I am thankful for Our Best Pal
We have a dog named Jd.
We play with him,
Love him,
Bath him,
Take him to the vet,
He guards us,
Cuddle us,
And watches t.v,
He is our best pal,
We are thankful we have J.D.

My husband bought me a dog because he goes on work trips a lot and so I get lonely. It's been one year and the joy and happiness she brings to our lives is monumental.
When we come home from work, she greets us with lots of licks and affection. When we try to sleep in on the weekends, she wakes us up early, as if trying to say "It's a beautiful day, we need to go out and enjoy it".
When we are having a bad day, she crawls into our lap and looks at us to say "No worries, I'm here for you".
It's amazing that we are not able to speak the same language, but just by looking at our animals, we know they understand us and they are able to comfort us.
I am thankful and feel extremely blessed to have an animal in my life.

My two dogs, Riley a pug and Jake a Heeler rescue, are truly two members of our family who provide constant affection and gratitude without words on a daily basis. Jake captured me with his loving eyes when he was behind bars at the HHS about to be put down, as he was not "attractive" enough to be adopted in the terrible physical condition he was in. Long story short, let's say Jake was not going to be put down but was on his way to his version of Disney Land for dogs. Jake has been abused and abandoned by a homeless man who got on a bus and left him one day. Jake still bears a large scar on his hind quarters of his former life. Jake has not been easy to deal with and many others would have given up on him when he developed aggression issues with some people and other dogs, especially hard when living in a condo. I hate to admit it, but at times I thought I couldn't do it anymore either, exhausting financial resources to work with trainers and behaviorists all for a dog. However, working with Jake has been an inspiration over time and led to a new passion for me of working with rescued animals and no-kill groups across the island since adopting him. I am now a board member for Pawprints Rescue and the Adoptions/Events Coordinator for Animal Care Foundation, working to get the so called "unadoptable" animals that many others do not want, into loving homes. Jake has taught me about life, to realize what matters. For me, it is the small things and the ability that each one of us has to make a difference in the lives of others, whether you choose humans or animals. I choose to work with my furry friends that unfortunately cannot express how they feel verbally, but boy are they thankful for a bowl of food, clean water, a roof over their head, and the occasional treat. While I am certainly most thankful for my four legged family members, I think Jake will agree that he is thankful for a second chance at life, to truly realize what it is like to be a dog when someone cares for and loves you unconditionally.

5 reasons I love my dog:
1. All she needs is love, food, and potty breaks
2. I can cry in front of her and she won't judge me
3. She is simple and better than a teddy bear
4. She tells me what she wants and I can always give it to her
5. She makes me feel loved even if she doesn't know it

Why am I thankful for my pets........I am actually honored to be my doggies' Mommy. Why I am asked, because because they are adored! They ask for little and give much. They know when I am down and pick me up. They do little antics that have me rolling in glee when a moment ago I was so sad. They have their own individual sparking personalities that mesh with mine, and those of my other family members. They love me because I am me and I love them because they are them. They are unique in each and every way but most of all, I thank the Lord every day for each and every one of them.
I am lovingly, happily, blessedly, wholeheartedly, sincerely, and uniquely individually and honored to have Gizmo, Puppy, and Nacho as my most precious gifts in life.

I'm thankful for animals because they enhance our lives. They give joy and companionship. It's amazing how a relationship is mutual and how communication exists between you and the animal (pet).
